fasciculus cuneatus

The more lateral of the two large ascending axon tracts that fill the dorsal funiculus of the spinal cord. The fasciculus cuneatus contains dorsal root ganglion cell axons transmitting discriminative sensations from the ipsilateral arm, shoulder, and neck. See also: fasciculus
