benign nasal tumour

A general term for a nonmalignant posterior nasopharyngeal tumour, usually an angiofibroma, most common in adolescent men.
 
Clinical findings
Epistaxis, nasal congestion, nasal discharge, hearing loss.
 
Imaging
Skull X-ray, CT of head.
 
Management
Surgical excision if lesion is enlarging or obstructing the airway.
