complete linkage

complete linkage

Genetics An inheritance pattern for 2 gene loci on the same chromosome, in which the observed crossover frequency between the loci is zero. See Chromosome, Crossing over, Gene, Inheritance, Linkage, Locus, Nonlinkage, Partial linkage.

complete linkage

The location of genes sufficiently closely to each other in a chromosome that they are always transmitted together to daughter cells. In the phenotype, the effects of such genes always occur together in the same individual.
