D scope D scope[′dē ‚skōp] (electronics) A cathode-ray scope which combines the features of B and C scopes, the signal appearing as a spot with bearing angle as the horizontal coordinate and elevation angle as the vertical coordinate, but with each spot expanded slightly in a vertical direction to give a rough range indication.
