Conceptual architecture

Conceptual architecture

(1960–1993)A form of architecture representing plans and drawings for buildings and cities never constructed. It can also be regarded as architecture arrested at the conceptual stage of development. The term also applied to work that could be realized but lacked the funds to construct it, or work done as an end in itself. It was also defined as a limitless activity devoid of dogma; that is, pure research or speculation.
