释义 | Cleckley, Hervey MiltonCleckley, Hervey Milton(1903–84) psychiatrist; born in Augusta, Ga. For most of his professional career he was associated with the Medical College of Georgia (1937–84). He wrote The Mask of Sanity (1946), a highly influential work on the psychopathic personality. With colleague Corbett Thigpen, he wrote Three Faces of Eve (1957), the first exhaustive description of a multiple personality, which was made into a movie. He also wrote the less well-known, but equally important book, The Caricature of Love (1957). |
