Elovaia

(also Bol’shaia Elovaia or Chizhandzi), a river in Krasnoiarsk Krai, RSFSR; left-bank tributary of the Kef River (Ob’ basin). Length, 331 km. Basin area, 6,230 sq km. The Elovaia flows through a swampy plain in the southern part of the region between the Ob’ and Enisei rivers. It is fed by various sources, mostly snow. High water is from May through August.
