Dummy Installations

ditches, trenches, communication trenches, and cover for combat matériel with dummy artillery guns, rockets, tanks, and combat vehicles installed in them, as well as dummy river crossings, bridges, and other facilities built to simulate the place of disposition of troops where there are actually no troops, in order to mislead the enemy. Dummy installations have the same layout and dimensions as actual installations, but the ditches and trenches may be less deep. Special camouflage operations are carried out to simulate life in the dummy installations.
