Established: 1993.
Location:35 miles south of Tulsa.
Facilities:Trails, boardwalk.
Activities:Boating, canoeing, fishing, hiking, hunting.
Special Features:Refuge protects important wetlands along the Deep Fork River. The land is subject to flooding at least once a year, creating excellent conditions for waterfowl.
Habitats: 9,000 acres of hardwood forests, wetlands, and lakes.
Access: Daylight hours.
Wild life: Mallard, blue-winged teal, frogs, turtles, snakes, rabbits, deer, butterflies and dragonflies.
