The channel forms a number of broad lakelike areas (Point Lake), rapids, and waterfalls. The Coppermine is fed primarily by snow; floods occur in spring and summer, and the river is covered with ice for six months of the year. The settlement of Coppermine is located at the mouth. CoppermineIntel's code name for Pentium III CPU chips that are the first to use the .18 micron (from .25 micron) manufacturing process. Coppermine chips are not copper chips. Coppermine chips were introduced in late 1999. |
