Busakov, Dzhamalleddin

 

Born 1918, in Dzharkent. Soviet Uigur writer.

Busakov served as a teacher, a school principal, and a chairman of a kolkhoz. He is the author of the novel Whirlpool (books 1-2, 1964-66; Russian translation, 1966), which describes the formation of a Uigur kolkhoz village, and the novellas Folk Singer (1959) and Morning Breeze (1969), which are devoted to the way of life of his contemporaries.
