Going Suit Going SuitSlang; a situation in which a technical worker becomes a manager (and has to wear a suit to work). The term is somewhat derogatory, connoting a person who has forgotten his/her roots. It may also indicate a person who becomes less technically proficient the longer he/she remains in management. |
