A chart pattern that depicts that each peak in a security's price over a period of time is higher than the preceding peak. Antithesis of descending tops.

Ascending Tops

In technical analysis, a series of peaks in price in which each peak is higher than the last. That is, a price may peak, then dip back down, then go to a higher peak, and so forth. Technical analysts often consider this a strong buy signal.
