Gorontalo

a city and port in Indonesia, located on the shore of the Tomini Gulf in the northeastern part of Sulawesi Island. Population, 71,000 (1961). Gorontalo is the center of a plantation region. It exports copra, kapok, coffee, rattan, wood, resins, and hides.
