- (1929-93) a British actor, born in Belgium. She won an Oscar for Roman Holiday (1953) and her other films include War and Peace (1956), Funny Face (1957), The Nun's Story (1959), Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) and My Fair Lady (1964). After her film career she worked for UNICEF, visiting children in trouble all over the world. In 1992 she received the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
