noun /bəˈzuːkə/
/bəˈzuːkə/
[uncountable]- a popular US make of bubblegum (= a soft substance that can be chewed and blown into bubbles). Packets used to contain cards with pictures of baseball or other sports players on them, and these were collected and exchanged by young people. The older cards are now becoming valuable. Bazooka was also originally sold with a comic strip about a character called Bazooka Joe.
