Ben-Hur

- a novel (1880) by Lew Wallace about the early days of Christianity. It has twice been made into a film. The second of these, made in 1959 with Charlton Heston, won 11 Oscars. The story is about Ben-Hur, a young Jew who meets Jesus and is converted to Christianity after many adventures.
