the Younger brothers

- four US outlaws (= criminals) in the Wild West. The best known of the four brothers were Cole Younger (1844-1916) and Jim Younger (1848-1902). They were cousins of Jesse and Frank James, and the group was sometimes called the James-Younger Gang. Three of the brothers were captured and sent to prison after trying to rob a bank in Northfield, Minnesota, in 1876.
