† deivirile, a. Obs. rare. [ad. med.L. deīvirīl-is (f. de-us god + virīlis manly), transl. Gr. θεανδρικός (f. θε-ός god + ἀνδρικός of a man, manly).] ‘A term in the school theology signifying something divine and human at the same time’ (Chambers, Cycl.).
