accrescence|əˈkrɛsəns| [f. (as if through Fr.) on late L. accrēscentia, n. of quality f. accrēscent-em pr. pple. of accrēsc-ĕre; see prec. and -nce.] 1. The process of growing continuously, continuous growth.
