1964Jrnl. Amer. Chem. Soc. LXXXVI. 3163/1 A study of the capacity of triquinacene to form metal complexes would..be of special interest, and its possible roles as a precursor of acepentylene..and of dodecahedrane..further make it an attractive object. 1974Nature 15 Nov. 188/2 The non-appearance of the marvellous and unique dodecahedrane, which several groups have been rumoured to be close to synthesising. 1983Jrnl. Amer. Chem. Soc. CV. 5449/1 The total synthesis of dodecahedrane has been achieved in 23 steps from cyclopentadienide anion. 1986Ibid. CVIII. 1717/2 For the future, our intention is to broaden still further the scope of this useful dehydrocyclization reaction and to commence detailed chemical investigation of the resulting dodecahedranes. |
