Etrog, n.2 Now Hist.|ˈiːtrɒg| [f. the name of Sorel Etrog (b. 1933), Romanian-born sculptor.] Any one of the Canadian Film Awards, presented annually between 1968 and 1978 (superseded by the *genie n. 3), for excellence in Canadian film-making; a statuette after a design by Etrog, commemorating the award.
