Falstaffian, a.|fɒlˈstæfɪən| [See -ian.] Characteristic of or resembling Falstaff, a fat, humorous, jovial knight in Shakes. Hen. IV, Hen. V, and Merry Wives. Also, resembling the ‘ragged regiment’ recruited by Falstaff (Hen. IV, iii. ii).
