probabiliorism|prɒbəˈbɪlɪərɪz(ə)m| [f. as next + -ism.] The doctrine of the probabiliorists; according to which, in opposition to probabilism, it is claimed that that side on which the evidence preponderates is more probably right and therefore ought to be followed.
