1854Chamb. Jrnl. I. 106 He would have all the smoke led downwards by a series of fumiducts. 1867Morn. Star 26 Dec. 7 The smoke from the stoves is conveyed by what may be called a fumeduct to a further distance, and there passed into an ordinary chimney. |
