Applied by Clifford to a class of functions which pertain equally to graphic and metric geometry. Hence as n., a graphometric function.
1865Clifford Math. Papers (1882) 85 Now this function belongs to Metric Geometry..But it also belongs to Graphic Geometry because it is unaltered by projection or linear transformation.
