hexastyle, a. and n.|ˈhɛksəstaɪl| Also 8 erron. hectastyle. [ad. Gr. ἑξάστῡλ-ος, f. ἕξ six (hexa-) + στῦλος pillar. Cf. F. hexastyle.] A. adj. Having six columns; applied to a portico or to the façade of a temple.
