A condition in which a sensation is referred to a point other than the true one (esp. the corresponding point on the other side of the body).
1881H. Obersteiner in Brain IV. 153 The patient is not clear..as to which side of the body has been touched. I would term the phenomenon ‘Sensory Allochiria’, or shortly ‘Allochiria’ or confusion of sides.1907E.
