holothurian, a. and n. Zool.|hɒləʊˈθjʊərɪən| [f. mod.L. generic name Holothūria, f. holothūria (Pliny), a neuter pl. of Gr. ὁλοθούριον, a kind of zoophyte.] A. adj. Of or pertaining to the genus Holothuria or division Holothurioidea of Echinoderms: see B.
