hydroxyquinoline Chem.|haɪˌdrɒksɪˈkwɪnəliːn| [f. hydroxy- + quinoline.] Any of the seven monohydroxy derivatives, C9H7NO, of quinoline, esp. oxine (8-hydroxyquinoline).
