‖ vaccinium Bot.|vækˈsɪnɪəm| [L. vaccīnium bilberry (?).] a. A large genus of plants, chiefly belonging to the northern hemisphere, many species of which bear edible berries. b. One or other species of this genus; spec. a bilberry.
