immortification|ɪˌmɔːtɪfɪˈkeɪʃən| [ad. eccl. L. immortificātio (cf. immortificātus in A Kempis De Imitatione), f. im- (im-2) + mortificātio mortification. Cf. F. immortification (Fr. de Sales).] Want of mortification; a condition of the soul in which the passions are not mortified.
