† inquisiˈturient, a. Obs. nonce-wd. [f. L. type *inquīsīturient-em, pr. pple. of *inquīsīturīre, desiderative of inquīrĕre, inquīsīt- to inquire: cf. parturient, esurient.] Desirous of making inquisition; eager to play the inquisitor.
