Ampelopsis Bot.|æmpɪˈlɒpsɪs| [mod.L., f. Gr. ἄµπελος vine + ὄψις appearance.] A genus of climbing plants allied to the vine; (with small initial) a plant of this genus, as one of the various species of Virginia creeper.
