[ad. Fr. kentrogone (Y. Delage 1884, in Arch. Zool. Expér. & Gén. 2 Sér. II. 606), f. Gr. κέντρον sharp point + γόν-ος offspring.]
A larval form of parasitic barnacles of the order Rhizocephala, in which state the barnacle first attaches itself to the host.
