lingonberry Canad.|ˈlɪŋənbɛrɪ| Also lingberry, lingenberry. [f. Sw. lingon mountain cranberry + berry n.1] A dwarf variety of mountain cranberry, Vaccinium vitis-idæa var. minus, native to far northern temperate regions; also, another northern species of cranberry, V. oxycoccus.
