‖ yojan, yojana E. Indian.|ˈjəʊdʒən|, |ˈjəʊdʒənə| Also -en, -unu. [Hindi yójan, Skr. yójana, yoking, measure of distance (lit. that travelled at one time without unyoking), f. yóga: see yoke n.1] A measure of distance, varying locally from about four to ten miles.
