mesolabe|ˈmɛsəʊleɪb| [ad. L. mesolabium (Vitr.), f. Gr. µεσόλαβος (or -ον), f. µέσο-ς middle, mean + λαβ-, λαµβάνειν to take.] An instrument used for finding mean proportional lines.
