Paralympic, n. and a. colloq.|pærəˈlɪmpɪk| Also paralympic. [f. paraplegic n. + Olympic a. and n.: see -ics.] A. n. pl. An international athletic competition modelled on the Olympic Games, for paraplegics and other disabled athletes.
