perennibranch, a. and n. Zool.|pəˈrɛnɪbræŋk| [f. mod.L. Perennibranchia neut. pl., f. perennis perennial + branchia.] a. adj. Having permanent gills; belonging to the division Perennibranchia (or Perennibranchiata) of Amphibians, which retain their gills through life. b. n. An amphibian of this division.
