pinocle U.S.|ˈpɪnəʊk(ə)l| Also penuchle, penuckle, pinochle, binocle. [Origin unascertained.] A game of cards resembling bezique; also, the occurrence of the queen of spades and knave of diamonds together in this game (cf. bezique).
