‖ pollo, n. Gastron.|ˈpoʎo, ˈpollo| [Sp. and It., chicken.] In the names of various chicken dishes, esp. of Italian or (Mexican-) Spanish origin, as pollo con arroz, chicken with rice, pollo al Diavolo, devilled chicken, etc.
