A.S.L.E.F., ASLEF, Aslef|ˈæslɛf| Formerly also A.S.L.E. & F. [Acronym, f. the initials.] The Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen, a British trade union; nowadays, the trade union to which train drivers belong.
