▪ I. † aˈstore, v. Obs. [a. OF. estore-r, estaure-r to construct, repair, restore, furnish:—late pop. L. 'staurāre, for L. instaurāre to erect, repair, renew, refresh. Hence the aphetic store v. now in use.] 1. To repair, restore, mend.
