pylagore Gr. Antiq.|ˈpɪləgɔə(r)| Also in Gr. form pylagoras. [ad. Gr. Πυλαγόρας, f. Πύλαι, Thermopylæ (the older place of assembly of the Pythian Amphictyony) + ἄγορα assembly.] The title of one of the two deputies sent by each constituent tribe to the Amphictyonic Council.
