Caspian, a. and n.|ˈkæspɪən| [f. L. Caspius (Gr. κάσπιος): see -an.] A. adj. Of or pertaining to the Caspian Sea, an inland sea of central Asia. B. n. a. The Caspian Sea. b. Anthropol. (A member of) the easternmost branch of the Mediterranean race.
