cellepore|ˈsɛlɪpɔə(r)| [ad. mod.L. cellepora (Linnæus), f. cella cell, after madrepora madrepore.] A genus of Polyzoa consisting of a group of vase-like chambers with a beak on one or both sides. Also attrib. Hence † celleporite (see quot.).
