Churrigueresque, a.|tʃʌrɪgəˈrɛsk| [See quot. 1853 and -esque.] Characteristic of, or suggestive of, the architecture of José Churriguera (1650–1723), in the Spanish style of late baroque, or of Latin-American and other imitations of this. As n. = the architectural style of Churriguera. Also ˈChurriguerism, -ist, -ˈistic adj.
