cingulate, a.|ˈsɪŋgjuːlət| [ad. mod.L. cingulatus, f. cingulum.] a. Having a cingulum. b. Arch-shaped; used esp. of a gyrus on the medial surface of each cerebral hemisphere that partly encircles the corpus callosum, and of the sulcus that forms its outer boundary.
