clianthus Bot.|klaɪˈænθəs| [mod.L. (Banks & Solander in G. Don Gen. Syst. Gardening & Bot. (1832) II. 468/1), app. f. Gr. κλει-, by-form of stem of κλέος glory + ἄνθος flower.] An Australasian shrub belonging to the leguminous genus of that name, bearing handsome flowers in racemes.
